brief information about the yurt camp:
CBT Tulpar Kol yurt camp has been working since 2007 when the CBT founded. it is located at 3,500 meters above sea level on the south of Sary-Mogol at the foot of Lenin Peak. The distance from Sary Mogol is 25 km and to the Base camp of Lenin Peak is 2 km (30min walk), until the traveler’s pass 7km (3hours walk) further to advanced camp (camp1) 15km (7hours walk).
Evenings can be pleasantly passed in warm yurts along the shore of Tulpor-Kul (lake), with only bright stars lighting up the night sky, the perfect end to a day trekking in the mountains.
Tulpar Kol is one of the beautiful alpine lakes in south Sary-Mogol (Alay district). It lies at an altitude of 3500m (a.s.l). The marvelous view of Lenin Peak starts from Tulpar Kol Lake in Pamir-Alay range. The lake’s maximum length is 1030 m, breadth about 200 m and round size 3125 m
